We have joined forces with a Fareham secondary school to reduce food miles in its canteen.

We are proud to partner with Cams Hill Secondary School to supply locally sourced and high-quality meat and produce for the school’s canteen.

We provide fresh lamb and beef from our farm, and also deliver chicken, pork and eggs on behalf of our network of fellow local farmers. The collaboration offers students wholesome meals that support both their health and the environment.

The school canteen now features meat products that are carefully reared in Hampshire and surrounding areas, alongside fresh seasonal vegetables and eggs, offering students wholesome meals that support both their health and the environment.

We are proud to contribute to reducing the carbon footprint of the canteen. Seventy per cent of the our suppliers are located within a 40-mile radius of our farm in Wickham.

Our head butcher, Suzi Howard, recently attended an open evening at the school to talk to students and parents about the importance of supporting British farmers.

Knowing where your food comes from is key to making sustainable choices. It’s fantastic to see schools like Cams Hill embracing this approach, and I’m excited about the difference we can make together for the future of British agriculture.

By working with local farmers, we’re not only providing better quality food for the next generation, but also strengthening our local food network.

This partnership also aligns with the broader movement to connect with the local community, highlighting the importance of small businesses and farms in providing sustainable food solutions.
