We are partnering with Fill Refill Co. to host a ‘Fill Day’ to encourage the public to embrace zero-waste living.

A ‘Fill Day’ is being held at our Winchester shop at 154 Winchester High Street on 12th April to talk to the public about our mission to create sustainable solutions.

Fill Refill Co. produces high-quality, sustainable household cleaning and toiletry products, designed to be refilled again and again – offering an easy way for households to cut down on plastic waste.

Fill Refill Co. originally partnered with a national door step milk delivery company for are usable glass bottle system, but when the deal fell through, thousands of bottles were left unused. The ‘Fill Day’ at Westlands Farm Shop Winchester is giving these bottles a new purpose – visitors can pick up a free reusable glass bottle and simply pay for the refill!

Since 2020, we have stocked Fill Refill Co. domestic products, operating a fully closed-loop system to minimise waste and promote circular sustainability.

We purchase 20-litre bulk containers of eco-friendly cleaning and household products from Fill. Once the containers are empty, they are returned to Fill Refill Co., where they are cleaned, refilled, and sent back-completely avoiding single-use packaging.

We work closely with local suppliers and integrate sustainable farming practices, ensuring that customers can shop with confidence, knowing they are supporting a business that values environmental responsibility.

Phillip Kalli, Founder of Fill Refill Co., said “We’re excited to team up with Westlands Farm Shop for this event. It’s a great opportunity to show how small changes – like refilling instead of re-buying – can make a big impact on reducing waste.”

We have been nurturing local supply chains and supporting small businesses in the community since opening our first shop in Meon Valley in 2001. We opened their second store on Winchester High St in 2024, bringing high-quality,British farm produce to the heart of the city.
