We are partnering with Greening Shedfield Parish to host a ‘Seed, Seedling, and Plant Swap’ on Saturday 15th March from 10am-12pm.
This will be a community-driven event aimed at encouraging sustainable gardening and biodiversity.
We are hosting a free-to-attend ‘Seed Swap’ at our farm at Pricketts Hill, SO32 2JW.
The Greening Campaign aims to bring communities together through a program of ‘Engagement’ to give Hampshire residents a voice in how they tackle climate change.
The public is encouraged to bring excess seeds and plants from their own gardens and trade them for new varieties, helping to reduce waste, increase plant diversity, and promote self-sufficient gardening.
We are looking forward to welcoming people from all walks of life to our ‘Seed Swap’ on Saturday. Please have a look at home for unused packets of seeds to bring along.
Bring what you can and take what you need! You never know you might go home inspired to grow something you have never tried to grow before.
Encouraging local people to grow their own food and plants is not just great for the environment, but also builds a stronger, more sustainable community. We’re proud to support this initiative and look forward to hosting similar events in the future.
