More than 450 people have just applied for three job roles at the brand new farm shop we are about to open in the centre of Winchester.
Job roles at the shop – from Assistant Store Managers to Farm Shop Team Members – have proved massively popular and we have been flooded with applications in just one week.
Shortlisted applicants were put through their paces with trail shifts in the original shop in Wickham, with eight being selected for roles in the new store.
The quality of the candidates has been truly impressive, making the selection process both exciting and challenging. It’s not every day that you see this level of passion and enthusiasm for local, sustainable food.
Choosing just a handful from hundreds of exceptional applicants was no easy task, but it just goes to show how much anticipation and excitement our new Winchester store is already generating.
The new store will offer a wide range of products, including fresh fruits and vegetables, locally-sourced dairy, freshly made baked goods, and British meats. Customers can expect a unique farm-to-table experience, bringing the best of the Hampshire countryside directly to Winchester.
We will be opening the doors to our new butchery and farm shop at 154 Winchester High Street on Friday the 8th of November.
